O-Zip Campaign — “Evolving for Generations”

For Icebreaker’s Real Since 1995 campaign, we helped bring one of their most iconic garments back to its roots.
Shot on a working Merino farm in Central Otago, the story follows three generations of one family wearing their O-Zip, a product that’s been part of the brand since the very beginning.

A celebration of heritage, quality, and the people behind the fibre.

Icebreaker came to us with a vision: to celebrate the O-Zip, one of their most iconic garments, through a campaign that highlighted its story across generations.
Our role was to help shape that vision into a video and photography campaign that felt authentic and rooted in the Merino farms that supply the brand.

The campaign, Real Since 1995, follows three generations of a real farm family, from the grandfather in his original O-Zip to the daughter in the latest design. We collaborated closely with Icebreaker and The New Zealand Merino Company, helping storyboard, craft mood boards, and plan every detail to ensure the final video and images captured the heart of the product, the people, and the place it comes from.

Over the course of a month, we worked side by side with Icebreaker to translate the concept on paper into a shoot that would feel alive on screen. Filmed on a working Merino farm in Central Otago, we captured the natural environment, the connections between generations, and the essence of a garment that has stood the test of time.
